Dr Mark Mayhew is Head of Portfolio and Strategy at Treehill Partners. He is an experienced corporate development executive and strategy advisor with significant expertise across development and commercial stage pharmaceuticals.
At Treehill, Mark’s work is focused on the identification and deep evaluation of optimal transaction partners based on portfolio and strategic complementarities. He excels providing strong strategic vision, a profound understanding of the BioPharma R&D value creation process, and a straight-forward approach to meeting client needs.
Mark’s experience includes almost a decade as a research scientist, both in Academia and Biotechnology, as well as subsequently over two decades in the bio-pharmaceutical industry, initially as a consultant with McKinsey and Company (New York) and then as Head of Corporate and Business Development at Esteve Pharmaceuticals (Barcelona).
Mark holds a PhD and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Oxford University, UK.
